Recover lost data from your Mac
Nice to Recover Data is a rescue tool for those that may have accidentally deleted or lost data on their Mac.
If you have accidentally deleted a file via the Trash, the main option is to use Quick Recovery. This performs a through scan of your hard drive and should locate the missing files or at least remnants of them. However, if Quick Recovery fails to find anything, Deep Recovery scans the disc more slowly (at about 3GB per minute) and probes more deeply for missing data.
If you've lost data on a partition, Lost Partition Recovery hunts for badly formatted or deleted data on a partition. Finally, Photo Recovery recovers photos, music and also video that's missing or corrupted on your Mac. This feature also works on cameras and iPods.
Nice to Recover Data has an elegant interface, is easy to use although it probably won't be able to recover everything you hope for.
